Great! While some are raising agberos. As Yoruba people we have to stop APC from turning our youths into uneducated touts that have no place in the modern world because these are the same people who will turn into armed robbers, drug traffickers and kidnappers and harm people, including their own people 43 Likes 5 Shares |

Fighter2029: But Business people can't succeed in multitudes if the society they operate in (including other ethnicities) aren't buoyant enough to patronize them. Isn't it by patronage (from able customers) that wealth is made? 9 Likes 1 Share |

To me I think a senior secondary school student should be encouraged and advised about skills. They should also be trained on banking, savings, and investment or business, but I think the focus needs to be on skills, even for university students - trainings and skills building, and those who choose not to go to university. Skills like mechanics, engine repair, farming equipment repair, parts fabrication, sewing, farming, cobbler, generator repair, electricians plumbers, security services, etc We shouldn't flood their head with being bosses immediately without experience in life. A few with luck or opportunities might be bosses, but that is where it ends most times. 10 Likes |

This is great! ... maybe inspired by Shark Tank ... the TV show where people pitch their business ideas before a panel of investors. This is great because it is a school effort ... and the business proposal must be based on a need in that community. Even if a school is knocked out in the first round .... those who participated would've learnt the basics of starting a business. I just hope this gets the promotion and exposure it sooo deserves. |

viodemus:There are so many young people into all that you have enumerated here. Sometimes I wonder if some of you here only exist on Nairaland. You seem to have lost touch with your surroundings. I know more than 20 young boys into aluminum doors fabrication alone. These are people I know personally. What secondary and university students need now is entrepreneurial skills. Thatโs only way to create job and harnessed the informal sector |
