My mb c230k shows R on dashboard when lever is on D and car won't start until it goes back to P on dashboard on its on. Could the problem be low transmission fluid, gear lever problem, battery? Car won't change gear , sometimes changes. Dashboard also shows BRAKE ( not hand brake) n disappears when car starts. Does anyone know, pls? |

Either the gear lever handle has broken. It happened to me about a year ago,when I put . On park,it will be in neutral. I had to buy complete gear selector from ladipo20k. My mechanic broke it and secretly put it back without my knowledge. All cos he be wan service my gear o and comot a bolt from under passenger rug o. |
