Festus Keyamo who is the Minister of State for Labour and
Employment as well as a spokesman of the All Progressives
Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign, has described
supporters of Peter Obi, the presidential Candidate of Labour
Party, as “mentally weak”.

Referred to as ‘’Obidients,'' Obi’s supporters have been
trending in the last one week after Nobel Laureate, Professor
Wole Soyinka, berated them for attacking others with
divergent political views.

Commenting on this in a Twitter post, Keyamo, a Senior
Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), wrote;

“It is evident that the so-called Obidients are
MENTALLY WEAK. They threw all sorts of trash at
other candidates, including ours, during the
campaigns and we took it with equanimity and
responded to all such jabs.

They made memes, skits and caricatured the images
of opponents and had fun until the reality check of
Feb. 25th. But now that the heat has turned on
them and their ‘hero’ in the last few days or weeks,
they have obviously cracked with many loosing their
heads. Just one audio sent them into a pitiful
tailspin with close aides confirming and denying the
audio all at the same time like a ragtag army.

And with the avalanche of criticisms from unlikely
quarters in the last few days, they have completely
lost it. They are cursing and swearing at every
perceived enemy and are beginning to sound forlorn.
It is evidence of a weak mentality. But I have good
news for them: it is time for the reasonable ones
who are patriots amongst them to quickly exit that
ignoble bubble and join hands with the in-coming
administration to move this country forward.
Anything short of that would be tantamount to
continuously ‘living in bondage!''

FLASHBACK: How Tinubu Was Arrested Twice In America Over Drug, Money Laundering – Fani-Kayode

Former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode had on March 2, 2015, made a shocking revelation about how the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu was allegedly arrested in the United States of America.

The human rights lawyer who was the Director of Media and Publicity, PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation in 2015, alleged in a statement that the current APC presidential candidate was arrested in both Chicago and Seattle, Washington while he was serving as the Lagos State Governor.

According to Fani-Kayode, Tinubu was first arrested over drug-related offence in Chicago and later for money laundering in Washington.

He stated that Tinubu on both occasions begged the American Authorities for out of court settlement, stressing that if not for that settlement and plea bargain, the 2023 presidential hopeful “would have been in an American jail by now”.

He said, “Tinubu, their de facto leader, should tell Nigerians why they should take him seriously after he was arrested on no less than two occasions by the American authorities for money laundering.

“On the first occasion, the arrest was for drug-related money laundering issues in Chicago and, on the second occasion, he was arrested for money laundering-related matters in Seattle, Washington whilst Tinubu was Governor of Lagos State.

“On both occasions he begged the authorities like a baby and was eventually forced to settle out of court with the American Justice Department by forfeiting a percentage of the money after a successful plea bargain”.

DAILY POST reports that Fani-Kayode, who dumped the main opposition party and defected to the APC on September 16 202, is currently a staunch supporter of Tinubu’s 2023 presidential ambition.
