There has been a technical glitch in the Nigerian Inter-Bank Settlement System (NIBSS) which started on Tuesday, 11th April 2023 till the early hours of Wednesday.

According to sources close to NIBSS, the technical issue was caused by a network failure and this has affected the core banking system.
