5 Reasons The Igbo Markets Should Be Moved To The Southeast (Video)

The last general and gubernatorial elections brought to the fore once again, the fierce hatred between ethnic groups in Nigeria. High profile members of the ruling APC brazenly made inciteful comments against people of the Igbo ethnic group, especially in Lagos state. Comments that went unpunished.

The inciteful comments were the spark that set off the resulting ethnic-based attacks on people of the Igbo ethnic group, as well as other Southern ethnicities in Lagos and Yoruba people who were labelled “Igbo looking”. Lives were lost and property worth millions destroyed across Lagos.

Several other attacks followed, majorly targeted at Igbo businesses in Lagos. In light of this, discussions have emanated on the necessity of moving the Igbo dominated businesses to the Southeast. The following video looks at 5 reasons (out of many) the markets should indeed be relocated to the Southeast.

Igbo should move their business to south east as a matter of urgency. At least, yoruba will concentrate on their business. Go to the gate in Ibadan where they are selling parts, you will know that we don't need Ladipo of igbo in lagos again.
