Tertiary Education Trust Fund[TET Fund] seeks to massively inject funds into selected tertiary institutions to achieve a major turnaround through programme upgrade and improvement.The Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) has allocated ₦30 billion for disbursement to six universities, six polytechnics and six colleges of education under its 2023 Special High Impact intervention. Mr Sonny Econo,The Executive Secretary of the fund, made this known on Thursday at a news conference in Abuja, to give further breakdown of the 2023 intervention budget of ₦320 billion recently approved by President Muhammadu Buhari. Echono said that each of the six beneficiary universities would get ₦3 billion, while each of the six selected polytechnics and six colleges of education would receive ₦1 billion.”For this year, six universities, six polytechnics and six Colleges of Education (COE) will benefit from the special high impact project.

These people will squander the money and go on strike as usual. Give the money to private universities like CU and Babcock so they can show you what those monies can do infrastructurally to expose mediocrity that's prevalent in public sector.

The private uni graduates like the public uni graduates work in same industries under similar salary standard and pay tax alike if not more for private school educated folks so why not fund the private schools?
Besides govt approves them before starting operation and accredited the programs run there.
