They are only few basic reason that most observers already know. First, we don't want to be get ourselves committed to any thing that will prevent or interfere in our achieving or realising of our grand Biafran project, which is of utmost importance than anything to we Igbos.
Secondly, we Igbo folks are satisfied and committed to our traditional way of life ,which is trade, all igbos are traders.
And lastly, we have realised that only the yorubas truly love us and will vote for us, as was clearly shown in the last general elections, where peter obi won massively in Lagos against a Yoruba son.

This your post made me LOL!

But let me help small.

Nigerian politicians are very selfish, corrupt and eccessively avaricious.
Igbo President may not even favour the Igbos more.

What the Igbos want is a country govern on the basis fairness, justice and equity.
And that is what the Yoruba and Northern Muslims do not want.

Igbo people are not really asking for too much from the Nigerian government. They have not ruled this country, yet the country is so messed up and keeps getting worse. But then who cares, if it is good, we'll all enjoy. If it continues to get bad, we'll all suffer it.
Even the strictest policies made by the government against mostly businesses of people from that region, they always find a way to make it work for them.
If anybody don't like their existence, call on the Nigerian government to conduct a referendum and let them go, it's as simple as that. And until that happens, we all die here and there is nothing, absolutely nothing anybody or group of people can do about it.
