Mr Agbor Ndoma Obim has assumed duty as the 15th State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps, Osun State replacing Mrs Olayinka Abdulwahab who has been transferred to Niger State.

Mr Agbor, during the handing over ceremony at the NYSC Secretariat in Osogbo on Friday, commended the Management team for their hardwork, diligence and loving disposition towards one another and other Members of staff.

According to him, his predecessor has spoken highly of the management team and therefore called on them to continue to work as a team. He assured them of his readiness to run an open door administration which welcomes good advice and input from the management.

Addressing members of staff after the handing over ceremony, Agbor appreciated his predecessor, Mrs Olayinka Abdulwahab, for a job well done in the State. He commended her for the impact and the strides made within the ten months spent as State Coordinator in the State.

He thereafter charged members of staff to continue to exhibit the discipline and commitment which he had observed the moment he stepped into the Secretariat assuring them of his committment to the welfare of both staff and Corps Members. He informed that his administration would run an open door policy harnessing the strength of individuals for the achievement of success.

"everyone is important, just as everyone has his own potential. Remember, we are not here to compete. We are on the same team called 'success' and we should therefore work together toward achieving success for the Scheme in the State.

" I have been briefed on how loving, hardworking, dilligent and disciplined you all are. Please continue to love one another and work together. Let's all work toward one goal which is success."

Earlier, the erstwhile State Coordinator, Mrs Olayinka Abdulwahab in her handing over brief eulogised the Management and members of staff describing them as the best team any leader could pray to work with.

She commended the management and staff for their support, and called on them to support her successor as they had supported her during her sojourn in the State. She charged them to embrace the change in administration as an act of God and be ready to work and support the new administration in ensuing the achievement of the mandate of the Scheme in the State.
