What You Shouldn't Do At Naija's Owambe

If you will be attending any party this weekend, please do well to read this and share with loved ones

Last night, I was on my way to church for all-night.

I had to go by public bus...

At one of the bustops,

The driver picked two women

These two women were well-dressed

And were carrying souvenirs

You know those kind that is being shared in Nigeria Owambe

I see some of those women coming from parties Saturday evening

With load on their head, in their beautiful dressing

You will think they are coming from shopping

They have collected everything shared at the party...

Maggi, Salt, Matches, Tray, Bucket, Spoon, etc.

Ok, let me continue my story ...

One of the women sat beside me

I noticed she was acting uncomfortable

Anyway, I kept on minding my business

That's what u do in Lagos public transport

All of a sudden, one of the lady on the other side beckoned to the driver

"Wait o, driver!

"Someone wants to vomit"

That was when I looked to my side.

The woman was quickly helped to come down.

Eventually, she regained herself and sat in the front seat by the driver

When I eventually arrived my destination, I started pondering,

This woman that was vomiting

Because she eventually started vomiting in her new seat beside the driver.

I hope this woman has not eaten something strange?

There is something I observed at Owambe parties and that is...

People tend to let their guards down

And that is also the time, the enemies target to launch their attack.

Two lessons I learnt from that incident

1. Never let your guards down at social events

2. Pray before attending any social event

3. Sanctify the food and drinks you are given

4. If in your heart, you don't feel like eating a particular food, please don't violate what your heart is telling you

The truth is the devil is an opportunist always looking for opportuned moment.

You shall not fall prey to the enemy in Jesus name .

Have a great weekend
