Recently, I visited the IDP camp at DAUDU in Benue state. It was Easter and I just decided to share the little I had with these people so I bought soaps and detergents to share. Honestly, it was a sweet/ bitter experience. It was sweet because I was able to put a smile on their faces and bitter because I saw first hand how humans were suffering in these camps. These people are short of food, children and malnourished and starving, there's shortage of water; I was moved to tears.
