In 2019, Nigerians were saddened and embarrassed when global news headlines reported that a Nigerian mother of two has been hanged in Saudi Arabia for trafficking drugs.

The woman named Kehinde Afolabi thought she could make some easy money only to die in such shameful manner.

In 1985, Buhari murdered 3 Nigerian men for 'pushing'drugs. What made Buhari's action inhuman was the fact that the crime did not carry a death penalty when they committed it. However, Buhari wanted to show his intolerance and disgust at those who traffic drugs, so he decided to make the law retroactive, thus killing those men.

Today, it's ironical to note that same Buhari is no longer averse to drugs. He doesn't see anything wrong in handing over to a man that was no different to Kehinde Afolabi or those 3 men he murdered in 1985. Does this man understand the implications of what he is about to do? Won't millions of youths become inspired to do drugs since they might believe it will lead them to success, after all one could still end up as a president.

Buhari will no doubt end up as the worst president to ever come out of Africa. Posterity will definitely dump him in the gutter.

Whenever I'm travelling outside the country.. It's hand luggage (like two). I can always get other things I need in marts abroad.

A similar case happened with a Northern girl in same Saudi where it was established that the airline staff and those in the baggage section colluded to plant drugs in her luggage with the hope that they'd track her to her base in Saudi to retrieve the illegal substance.. That was how she escaped being killed and the airline took the blame.
