Wednesday, September 21, 2011 [size=14pt]Chibuike snubs Sweden for Nigeria[/size] Emerging Nigerian midfielder John Chibuike has reportedly snubbed Sweden to play for Nigeria at senior level. The Rosenborg of Norway player was said to have chosen Nigeria ahead of Sweden after the European country‘s FA made an enquiry about his international future. A source close to the 22-year-old player said Chibuike has decided to bid his time with Nigeria. Our source said, “Some people advised him (Chibuike) to play for Sweden when they approached him last year but his love for Nigeria made him refuse the offer. The Swedish FA made serious efforts to have him in their squad but the player refused. ”They (Sweden FA) have also made another enquiry about the player after his high performance for BK Hacken last summer before he moved to Rosenborg he still insists on playing for Nigeria.” However, Chibuike confirmed that he would be available for Nigeria but would rather want to concentrate on his club career at Rosenborg. ”I don‘t want to be distracted over this issue; I know where my future belongs and only time and God will decide for me. That's a mistake on his part. I know He's been patriotic but He can be celebrated too if He plays for Sweden. Not all Nigerian players in Europe will play for the Super Eagles. |

dis chibuike dude sure has a good PR.they kip writting good things about him,simply cos he scored a hat trick.abi na five goals in 3 games.they shud take it easy. other fantastic players eg,,,, Nnaemeka Ajuru,FK Vojvodina,Serbia(no age cheat) Derick Chuka Ogbu,OHL Lueven,Belgiun(4 goals in 3 games) Dickson Etuhu,etc |

No. We're writing about him simple because he's an attacking midfielder. And Nigeria lack any quality AMs at the moment. This guy looks like the best bet at the moment for a quality player. If he's good enough for Sweden he is good enough for Nigeria. |

he dosent look like an attacking midfilder to me, more like winger/striker dude got no passing skills what soever. number 10 is for rb10 or nosaigiebor 20 so far |
