In every election circle, INEC appoint Returning Officers in each state, they are the ones that announce result. Most of them are university dons. RECs are not chosen to announce state results but truly they are the most seniors in the state.

What is playing out in Adamawa is a highlight of what happened to the February 25 presidential election. A predetermined winner is being announced. Losers can go to Court. These are signs that may lead to the truncation of this republic. This is a show of shame.
