Something is noticeable, the Areas where there are less agricultural production are paying more for Garri, that simply means we need to go back to farming.
That said, insecurity in the country is really impacting negatively to agro commodities

The garri we consume in the south is gotten from casava planted in the south. Inflation is the reason for the high price and it's a world wide epiedmic that has made many shops in US to stop selling eggs because the price has trippled.

Also the activities of fulani herdsmen is preventing people from going to their farms making the product scarce with high demand leading to higher prices.

That's why i said the Government should do something about it. There are ways the government can help subsidise it. I am very aware that the farmers have to make their own profit but if we're being honest most farmers inflate price unnecessarily too.

To be sincere, the price of garri does not worth the stress.
apart from grinding and pressing, every other thing is manual.

You are on point bro. Even our Political and Business elites are into Agriculture. Mind you, no one is talking about Old system of farming here. Technology has changed the phase of Agricultural practices. All you need to do is to develop passion for it and work toward actualizing your goals. Agriculture is the panacea to sufficient food in our Nation.
