In the 1970s, North Korea ordered 1,000 Volvo cars from Sweden. The cars were shipped and delivered, but North Korea simply ignored the invoice and refused to pay. Till this day the bill for $70 Million remains unpaid making it the largest car theft in history

The story doesnt add up. 70m/1000 = $70k per car in the 70s. The volvo na bullet proof. Forget west and their propaganda.

Contracts like these usually come with yearly inflationary uplift with non payment

Sweden is one of the few countries that maintain embassy in North Korea. Sweden has always had neutrality in Wars for the last 200 years and often act as negotiators. North Korea imported a whole lot of items not just Volvo and the debt is over $300m

If it was the North Korean goverywho ordered those cars then diplomatic relations between Sweden and North Korea should have broken down.

Okay, factor inflation, does a Volvo car cost $70k today? That’s above #50m, for a Volvo car! Pls the story does not add up.
