So it's an indictment on his government. Atleast he has made effort to admit it and correct it. |

This is why I will continuously give kudos to SUJIMOTO, man is a hard core dilligent person. By and large, I was one of the Quantity Surveyor on Lucrezia De Medici by SUJIMOTO located at 402CL and I can tell for a fact that over #100,000,000 (One Hundred Million Naira) was used for pilling of the building alone which is a very rare instances among the Developers in that region. SUJIMOTO takes no chances at all, he employs the best and use the best of methodology in approaching all of his endeavours. 1 Like 1 Share |

Think9ja: LOL. Not that straightforward . . . First, the Talent they need is concentrated in Lagos. A lot of big corporates like Julius Berger based in Abuja have to recruit for back office roles from Lagos. Even their Staff moving from Abuja to Lagos wont find it easy - accomodation challenges, schools for Kids, Spousal concerns etc Secondly, network effects: their suppliers and partners are mostly based in Lagos - moving to Abuja just because means they would face logistical issues that mifht hamper them. A lot of manufacturers who regularly import wont even try it. Thirdly, believe it or not a lot of well-heeled folks love the Lagos lifestyle of clubs and faaji. |

Damn if you do, damn if you don't, so you better start doing what you have to do. This is an opportunity to reclaim so many land with eminent domain or give penny on the dollar compensation. |

Can't the multinational that have feasibility experts on payrolls see Abuja or smell the stench in Lagos? They have weighed both and know that Lagos is the real deal with a character and history while Abuja is a cookie cutter bedroom community. Plastic excellencies may reside in Abuja but the real excellence is in Lagos. That's why you don't compare a horse to a dog in a race. Think9ja: |

I am not sure he deliberately built underneath. My guess is that someone told him it was OK...but it was so obvious these were mega powerlines in the Island, and that should have been obvious. Felt bad because he was in real estates, had a normal job, rented to people here and sold everything to build the school that was torn down.

|

MasterTeeUSA:I feel bad but same time not feeling bad for him. How can someone be so tactless with his business plans? There's nothing like an inconspicuous power line. There's no powerline any sane human being should build permanent structures under or few meters close to. Even if you have connections to the Governor at the time, can you predict how strict the next Governor would be? 1 Like |
