A woman, Mrs Elizabeth Tiamiyu, has demanded a public apology and compensation of N50, 000, 000 from Jendol Superstore for wrongly accusing her of shoplifting an item worth N10, 000 from their store in Ota on Thursday. 6th of April, 2023.

In a letter written to the supermarket by the woman’s lawyer, Abayomi Fagbayi and obtained by VOA News Correspondent, Mrs Tiamiyu accused Jendol superstore of ‘defaming her person’ in a public place and bringing ‘unending shame’ to her family.
