Camel (Leviticus 11:4-: The camel chews the cud but does not have split hooves, so it is ceremonially unclean for you.
The Hyrax: chews the cud but does not have split hooves, so it is unclean
The pig has evenly split hooves but does not chew the cud, so it is unclean


You may not eat the meat of these animals or even touch their carcasses. They are ceremonially unclen for you.

Water Animals To Eat (Leviticus 11:9-12)

Any animal from water that has fins and scales, whether taken from salt water or from streams can be eaten.

But you must never eat animals from waters that does not have both fins and scales. They are detestable to you. This applies to both little creatures that live in shallow water and to all creatures that live in deep water.

Birds Not To Eat (Leviticus 11:13)

The griffon vulture
The bearded vulture
The black vulture
Falcons of all kinds
Ravens of all kinds
Eagle owl
Short-eared owl
Short-eared owl
Seagull
Hawks of all kinds
Little owl
Ban owl
Desert owl
Egyptian vulture
Stork
Herons of all kinds
Hoopoe
Bat


Insects Not To Eat

Wing insects that walk along the ground
You may not eat wing insects that walk along the ground and have jointed legs so they can jump


You Can Eat

Locusts
Bald locusts
Crickets
Grasshoppers

All other winged insects that walk along the ground are detestable to you.
