Political neutrality as you put it is not an option. Have you read the entire Bible? I read the whole of the New Testament late last year. This year, from February I started reading the Old Testament. Right now I am on the Book of Proverbs. I noticed something in the Bible. Plenty of politics and political maneuvering in the Old Testament. Even in the New Testament, Jesus talked about (and also talked to) the political leaders of the time such as Herod, Pontius Pilate, Caesar, etc.

I thinks the Church and the Men of the Pulpit should take more active roles in shaping the consciousness of the people politically. The nativity and the political illiteracy of the masses can easily be destroyed if Preachers will step up in this regard
