Parading himself up and down like somebody important even after losing woefully, he is on a denial, his mind playing tricks on him that he is the president, it can only end in depression by the time reality set in, sore loser
YES YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT.

An illiterate man with a cricket iweka accent. If all was equal in Nigeria today, peter Obi would have been a market meat seller. He severely lacks all the essential leadership qualities…he reminds me of an unpolished local champion.

Has Tinubu started the work?

Tinubu has not been sworn in, so he's yet to take charge. Therefore, the issue of a doctor resting in the middle of a surgery is not applicable here. Your comment is in bad light and very mischievous.

Digest it before you respond.

Well let's assume he has not started the work but these was the signs buhari gave us that took him six months to assemble a team. 6 months is enough to fix Nigeria electricity but it was wasted trying to figure out whom he could work with. I pray tinubu don't come in and start wasting another precious time. He has all the time now to arrange his team and start the work from May 29th. No excuses and this kind of rest/vacation is also suspicious. No president elect in the whole wide has ever come to Nigeria or any African country to rest after election.

Don't rest then, keep campaigning ! Dunce.

Staying out of the country is strategic, it is a temporary shield against lobbyist and sycophants', it reduces political visitors at this time.

Medical tourism is another reason for staying out of the country.

That's true. Serious leaders would be too busy investing in Hero Beer and 'saving' government money in family investments. Some people are just too good at deceiving the gullibles lipsrsealed

I think people are struggling with the USE OF ENGLISH, and probably didn’t pay attention in GS101 class!

Peter Obi never said no one should rest! But placing his statement in its proper context and understanding the monumental challenges facing Nigeria at present, he’s damn right to say no serious leader will go on rest….meaning taking time off FOR WEEKS ON END in the name of ‘rest’! It’s like Emperor Nero deciding to play his harp as Rome burns!

What is he even resting for sef!? If being president is too much stress on his physical and mental well-being, why then did his greedy ass decide to run in the first place!? People criticising Peter Obi seem to have short memories and forget easily what this country went through with Buhari!

This is the idiot some people wanted to vote.

Oyinbo, Chinese and Arabs wey dey do vacation get everything pass you.

Numpty.

You people don't have sense. He's not saying you shouldn't rest but what he means is that, the situation in Nigeria now doesn't need rest, the nations leader must work out his strength to turn things around. Things are so bad that there's no time to waste. That's what he means. Low IQs will never understand the words of wisdom of a genuine and great man like Peter Obi.

So after the rigorous election campaign Tinubu went through, sometimes campaigning in 2 different states in 1 day and visiting some states twice........ mind you he covered far more states than Obi and Atiku could, he shouldn't take time out to rest??

If many tried what Tinubu did, it's possible they'll be down with one illness or stress by now.

Obi should shut up, he's only good at talking about things he has never done in his life.
