Eze Monica Chidinma, a female student of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, was rewarded 100 dollars after she performed one of the Anyidons’ songs titled “IGBOTIC.” The young, brilliant girl is from the department of English and Literary Studies and is also the current president of the Uzouwani Student Association UNN chapter. During his live show on Sunday at Nsukka Government Field, the Igbotic crooner, Frank Ifeanyi Dons, popularly known by his stage name Anyidons Onye Ichaka, encountered a Chidinma who sang his Igbotic song on the stage. After she finished performing on the stage, Anyidons rewarded her with the sum of 100 dollars in cash as part payment of her school fees for the next academic session. God bless Anyidons more and more. He is a talented composer and performer. But who else notices that only female adults get this kind of treatment in our society? If that performance was by a male student, he might get only the artiste's cap or shirt as the reward. 1 Like |
