APC North Central settles for Deputy Senate President by etokhana: 9:10am On Apr 29, 2023
The North Central Caucus of Senators-elect from the All Progressive Congress (APC) has settled for the position of Deputy Senate President in the 10th National Assembly.

The Caucus has also narrowed it to its Chairman, Senator Dani Musa (Niger East).

Rising from its meeting Friday, Rt Hon. Ahmed Wadada, Senator-elect (Nasarawa West) convener of the Caucus said β€œwe as a Caucus met today and agreed to go for the position of Deputy Senate President”.

The Caucus was aware of the agitations from various zones for the position of Senate President and Speaker of the House of Representatives.

The Caucus also welcomed President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu from his foreign trip and commended him for his disposition to ensure that equity and fairness take place in the distribution of leadership to all the geo-political zones.

The Northerners always show how organized and good in politics unlike southerners who will be fighting themselves and at the end of the day they won't get any position...
NC went for a position that others are not interested, a bird at hand is better than dozen on the tree.

The majority of NW made it clear they want Speaker not DSP.

And it looks to a great extent the NC has aligned with that position - Sani Musa has stepped his campaign down to DSP.

You reap what you sow, emotion and entitlement will be removed from politics… the SE politics is of hatred and threat to be sitting down with the Elected President. Goodluck Jonathan even though was voted massively in south west during is first Tenure didn’t zone any political appointments to South West.


As at now, No South Easterner recognize Tinubu as the President… never congratulated him & still in court against his Mandate
