The chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River State, Alphonsus Eba, has issued an order to the Ward 8 executive committee in Calabar Municipality to immediately revoke the alleged suspension of the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Ntufam Ekpenyong Iso.

Eba summoned the Ward 8 executive committee for a meeting yesterday, during which he reprimanded them and nullified the suspension.

According to media reports, the Ward 8 executive committee had suspended Iso, citing allegations of anti-party activities.

Party officials have stated that Eba emphasized that there is currently no provision for suspension within the party, and instructed them to withdraw the announcement of the suspension.
