Mason Greenwood has reportedly told his friends his career as a Manchester United player is over after his rape and assault charges were dropped.

Mason Greenwood has reportedly told his friends he will never play for Manchester United again.

The estranged 21-year-old has already seen his alleged rape and assault charges dropped in February.

However, Greenwood continues to be under internal investigation by the Manchester giants, hence delaying his return to the pitch.

Greenwood, who was initially arrested in January 2022, was expected to join Erik ten Hag's squad after the charges were dropped by the Crown Prosecution Service earlier this year.

But his return to first-team training has been put on hold while the club continues to look into the incident to determine his future at the Theatre of Dreams.
