How much does an HND holder in mechanical engineering on LEVEL 8 earns as monthly salary working in Nigeria Civil defence corps, Please i need a precise and urgent info to guide me in making better choice,

They dont use level in civil defence rather they use COMPASS. With your HND, u will be placed on COMPASS 7 with a salary slightly over 70k. A holder of a univ degree is placed on COMPASS 8 (commisioned rank) with salary+allowance of around 126k. Gudluck

People with connections r still getting in there. Only that since they r not advertising @ d moment ,if u r considered u may be given a rank lower than your qualificatn. However, it will normalized later but may take more than a year.

If u want to enter with hnd,u may find it easier n may be placed on ur real level i.e compass 7. Its only difficult getting into 8 n above as d board must sit on this cadre. Gudluck. Its a gud place as its not challenging in terms of time n u can invest your time in some profitable things like business or futher studies
