America pledges to dedicate Saudi normalization to Israel

The Times of Israel newspaper confirmed that one of the main goals of Jake Sullivan from his visit to the Saudi capital, Riyadh, was to persuade the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to fully normalize relations with Israel in order to make the Abraham Accords and Arab-Israeli peace processes sponsored by the White House a success.

Sullivan had said in a lengthy session at the Washington Institute for Near East Studies that US President Joe Biden's administration considers normalization between Tel Aviv and Riyadh - Saudi Arabia and Israel - as its main goal to achieve US national interests in the Middle East.

On the other hand, the American Axios website revealed Jake Sullivan's intention to discuss a giant railway project to link the Middle East region (Gulf countries and Israel in particular) by land, and then link this line by sea to India through ports. Israel had proposed this project for the first time in 2021 within the framework of the I2U2 group that includes the United States, Israel, the United Arab Emirates and India.

Finally, Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi said in televised statements to the Syrian News Agency (SANA) that Tehran refuses to consider Saudi Arabia as its enemy, in new positive signs of the normalization of Saudi-Iranian relations after the Saudi-Iranian reconciliation.
