*A stark reflection of the state of the Nation:*

Ten (10) secondary school students left Kano to represent their state in a quiz competition in Lagos.

Their Government put them in a Bus on an over 800Km trip. They died in a ghastly motor accident on their way.

Yesterday, their Government woke up and flew their corpses from Lagos to Kano.

What an Irony. We cannot nurture you to stardom, but if you die, we will waste enough on you. The leadership avoids the roads, and fly private jets using public funds.

May the almighty God comfort the family of these young heroes, and forgive all those who have a hand in the negligence that has truncated their great dreams. Amen

Unfortunately, tribalism has killed Nairaland, and therefore no traffic, so only few or no one will get to see this thread and the irony. Now its sad cos Nigerian news is flooding twitter and its always negative cos nairaland is badly administrated.

May be you should take this opinion peace to twitter, again, it will be a shame to wash your dirty linen offshore.
