The Grassroots Mobilization For Asiwaju (GMA 2023) has expressed confidence in a peaceful and successful transition of power on May 29th, 2023, according to a statement by the group's National President, Comr. Aminu Aminu, during a press conference on May 10th, 2023 at Bassan Plaza in Abuja.

Aminu clarified that the organization is aligned with the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and supports Senator Godswill Akpabio from Akwa Ibom for Senate President and Honourable Tajudeen Abbas from Kaduna for Speaker of the House of Representatives.

He praised Akpabio and Tajudeen for their leadership skills, political influence, and contributions to Nigeria's growth and democracy. He encouraged elected senators and members to put aside their differences and rally behind the chosen leaders to build a stronger and united Nigeria.

Furthermore, the GMA 2023 appealed to the APC national leadership and President-elect to appoint qualified, patriotic, and incorruptible individuals to help propel Nigeria towards greatness. Aminu noted that the GMA 2023 had contributed significantly to the party's success in the February and March 2023 elections and called on all Nigerians to support the incoming government for the betterment of the country.
