The Offa Descendant Union, ODU, under the leadership of Alhaji Azeez Muideen Olaniyi Salako, has expressed its gratitude to HRH Oba Alhaji Mufutau Gbadamosi Esuwoye II for his support of the course and aspirations of his subjects.

The commendation was contained in a statement issued by the Union's National Social Secretary and NPRO, Idowu Muhydeen Oladipo, on behalf of the National President, Alhaji Salako.

The union commended the Oba Gbadamosi for his support and encouragement for Offa's sons and daughters.

The union said the various landmark achievements recorded by many individuals and groups in the town were a consequence of the unwavering support of the revered monarch.

The recent meeting of Oba Esuwoye II with the Executive of the National University Commission (NUC) in Abuja on the actualisation of the proposed Lens University Offa is evidence of HRH's open-mindedness.

ODU noted that the tremendous support of the royal father had gone a long way in the development of Offa and its environment. The union assures Oba Gbadamosi of its continuous support to provide quality leadership in the realisation of the Offa Tuntun agenda.
