Very pedestrian logic and weak premise...

Make your way to the South East...add value there and then when it is time for elective contest, then try your luck...

I am uber certain that you stand a chance of winning...

Nobody would mail a position to you when you refuse to muster the cojones to pit your wits against a challenging environment...

The Igbos have earned their position in Lagos and any other part of Nigeria...It is not as if they got to the positions gratis or free from seemingly insurmountable constraints...
Let's assume Mobolade is from a Spanish speaking country who migrated to the US and he couldn't speak English language. I'm very sure no one would have voted for him if he couldn't speak their language and there's no way he would have been voted for if he had insulted the city he wanted to represent on social media or said 'he doesn't think like an American'.

Yoruba will never go to another man's land and tell them that the land belongs to nobody, so Americans shouldn't panic.

Ludicrous response I must concede...

The official language in Lagos is English and not Yoruba. In fact there is almost no Yoruba person in Lagos who cannot understand pidgin English with which they can be communicated to...

Your argument does, therefore, not make sense...

You people should rather address your deep-seated insecurities....If someone turns up in your father's house and begin to make careless statements that the house is not yours when clearly you are in charge...

What do you do?

Do you freak out and lose you head and start acting demented or do you ignore a lazy and baseless comment while going about leading your life and letting the order of things prove who is in charge?

You are acting as if need validation or affirmation from the Igbos to establish the fact that Lagos is your land....That has to be very unfortunate...
