Northern Nigerians celebrated 9/11, the killing of Deborah Samuel and other terrorist acts committed outside of Nigeria. Boko Haram is comprised of Northern muslims (Hausa, Fulani, Kanuri etc.) and other Sahelian muslims (Nigeriens and Chadians etc.) Such an organisation would not be able exist without the support of locals and politicians.
