Arsenal have no doubt surpassed expectations this season in the Premier League.

Although, the North London club has already been branded as the biggest bottlers in the league this campaign, having all but thrown away their hopes of a first Premier League title in 19 years.

The Emirates outfit has since established itself as one of London's most successful English teams, known for nurturing raw talent and developing young players.

Under current coach Mikel Arteta, Arsenal have rolled out an attractive mix of youth and experience on the pitch and have been lauded for their impressive brand of football.

The Gunners are nowhere near done yet, as they continue to build a dynasty following the end of the legendary Arsene Wenger’s era.

The 26-year-old Brazilian forward takes home a weekly package of £265,000 and ears over £13 million yearly at the Emirates.

Jesus currently boasts the highest wages amongst the Arsenal players’ salaries.

10. Eddie Nketiah - £100,000 per week

Edward Keddar Nketiah is a 23-year-old English professional footballer who plays as a striker for Premier League club Arsenal.

Nketiah started his career with Arsenal and made his debut in 2017.

He played on loan at Leeds United in their 2019–20 Championship title-winning season, before returning to Arsenal in January 2020.

However, his longest taste of first-team action came in the 2022-23 season, following Gabriel Jesus’s injury in Brazil's 2022 FIFA World Cup game against Cameroon.

Nketiah’s current contract at Arsenal runs out in June 2027 and he is one of Arsenal’s highest-paid players in 2023.

9. Kieran Tierney - £110,000 per week

Kieran Tierney is a 25-year-old Scottish professional footballer who plays as a left-back, centre-back or left-midfielder for Premier League club Arsenal and the Scotland national team.

Tierney came through the Celtic youth system and made his first team debut in April 2015, and his full international debut in March 2016.

He joined Arsenal in August 2019 for a fee reported at £25 million, a record amount both for a Scottish national and for a player from the Scottish league.

Tierney signed a new deal with Arsenal in 2021, getting a bumper pay-rise in a 4-year contract that will keep him at the Emirates.

As of May 2023, Kieran Tierney is one of the highest-paid players at Arsenal.

8. Jorginho - £100,000 per week

Jorge Luiz Frello Filho commonly known as Jorginho, is a 31-year-old Brazilian-Italian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Arsenal and the Italy national team.

He operates as a defensive midfielder or a deep-lying playmaker, also known as a regista in Italian football.

Born in Brazil, Jorginho moved to Italy at the age of 15, and began his professional career with the Hellas Verona youth team, before being promoted to the senior team.

During the 2010–11 season, he was sent on loan to Sambonifacese.

In January 2014, he moved to Napoli, where he soon after won the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa Italiana.

He made 160 appearances for the Serie A club before signing for Chelsea in 2018, where he won the UEFA Europa League in his first season, followed by the UEFA Champions League during the 2020–21 season.

After four and a half years at Chelsea, Jorginho joined Arsenal on 31 January 2023 on a one-and-a-half-year contract with the option of a further year for a transfer fee of £12 million.

Jorginho’s transfer to Arsenal saw him pocket a weekly package of £100,000, making him one of the highest-earning players at Arsenal.

7. Martin Ødegaard - £115,000 per week

Martin Ødegaard is a 24-year-old Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder and captains both Premier League club Arsenal and the Norway national team.

Ødegaard began his senior club career at age 15 in 2014, playing for Strømsgodset and setting the Tippeligaen record for its youngest goalscorer.

In 2015, signed for Real Madrid in a transfer worth an initial €4 million, where he set the club record for its youngest player.

After enduring sporadic playing time, Ødegaard joined Eredivisie clubs Heerenveen and Vitesse, and La Liga club Real Sociedad, on successive loans between 2017 and 2019; Ødegaard won the Copa del Rey with Real Sociedad in 2019.

Following another loan, he signed for Arsenal in August 2021 in a transfer worth an initial £29 million (€35 million) on a 3-year deal.

After a successful first full season with Arsenal, he was announced as the club's captain in 2022.

Ødegaard would win the Premier League Player of the Month award for November/December 2022, becoming the first Arsenal player to win the award since Aubameyang won it in September 2019.

He would also become the second Norwegian to win the award, joining international teammate and Manchester City striker Erling Haaland.

6. Ben White - £120,000 per week

Benjamin William White is a 25-year-old English professional footballer who plays as a defender for Premier League club Arsenal and the England national team.

Mainly a centre-back, he can also play as a right-back, and has for majority of the 2022-23 season occupied that position.

White began his senior club career at age 18 in 2016 with Brighton & Hove Albion.

He spent time with Newport County, Peterborough United, and Leeds United on successive loans between 2016 and 2019.

He subsequently played in the four professional English leagues, and won the Championship with Leeds.

After a season with Brighton, White was the subject of a club record association football transfer when he signed for Arsenal in 2021 in a transfer worth up to £50 million, becoming their most expensive defender.

On March 4, 2023, he scored his first goal for the club in a 3–2 home win over Bournemouth, scoring a volley in the 70th minute.

Ben White’s transfer to Arsenal last summer saw him agree to a £120,000 weekly package in a four-year deal.

5. Granit Xhaka - £120,000 per week

Granit Xhaka is a 30-year-old Swiss professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Arsenal and captains the Switzerland national team.

Xhaka began his career at hometown club FC Basel, winning the Swiss Super League in each of his first two seasons.

He then moved to Bundesliga team Borussia Mönchengladbach in 2012, developing a reputation as a technically gifted player and natural leader, while being the subject of criticism for his temperament.

Xhaka was made captain of Borussia Mönchengladbach in 2015 at the age of 22, leading the team to UEFA Champions League qualification for a second successive season.

He completed a high-profile transfer to Arsenal in May 2016 for a fee in the region of £30 million.

He later became vice-captain of the club.

In Arsenal’s match against Crystal Palace at Emirates Stadium on 27 October 2019, Xhaka was at the center of criticism after being substituted off in the 61st minute.

The incident began when a portion of Arsenal fans started to cheer when his name was called to be replaced.

He was booed as he walked off the pitch, and responded by making several sarcastic gestures and angrily saying "Bleep off" twice to the fans who jeered his name.

He also removed his jersey before walking straight down the tunnel.

Xhaka's actions were met with significant criticism after the match, and manager Unai Emery described Xhaka's conduct as "wrong".

Emery also suggested that Xhaka should apologise.

Arsenal later tweeted an explanation from Xhaka about the incident.

On November 5, 2019, just a month and a week after his announcement as captain, Xhaka was stripped of the captain's armband with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang taking over as the captain after previously serving as vice captain.

However, under the tenure of new manager Mikel Arteta, Xhaka was reintroduced into the team as a key player and saw a sharp uptake in his form for the club and slowly began to win over the fans with whom he had previously had a fractured relationship.

Xhaka has been a key player in Arsenal’s title-challenging campaign in the 2022-23 season.

As of May 2023, he is one of the highest earners in the Arsenal players salary cap, taking home a weekly paycheck of £120,000.

The Swiss midfielder’s contract with Arsenal comes to an end this June, and Xhaka has reportedly agreed terms to join Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen on a free transfer.

Oleksandr Volodymyrovych Zinchenko is a 26-year-old Ukrainian professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Premier League club Arsenal and the Ukraine national team.

Zinchenko began his career at Russian Premier League team Ufa before joining Manchester City in 2016 for a fee around £1.7 million.

A versatile player, he started his career as an attacking midfielder, but eventually converted into a left-back or wing-back under Pep Guardiola.

He has won four Premier League titles, four League Cups and an FA Cup with the club.

On 22 July 2022, Zinchenko signed for Premier League club Arsenal on a long-term contract for a reported fee of £30 million, potentially rising to £32 million in add-ons.

On 5 August, he made his club debut and registered his first assist with the club, in a 2–0 away win against Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

As of May 2023, Zinchenko is the fourth highest-paid player at the Emirates.

Gabriel Teodoro Martinelli Silva commonly known as Gabriel Martinelli, is a 21-year-old Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Arsenal and the Brazil national team.

Martinelli began his senior club career playing for Ituano and signed for Arsenal in July 2019, aged 18.

He won the FA Cup in his debut season at the Emirates.

Martinelli is currently enjoying his best season in the Premier League, having scored 14 goals and created 5 assists in 35 appearances so far this campaign.

Martinelli has been described as a dynamic and explosive wide forward known for his agile movement, Martinelli can dribble past multiple opponents to create or score goals.

2. Thomas Partey - £200,000 per week

Thomas Teye Partey is a 29-year-old Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Arsenal and the Ghana national team.

Partey began his professional career at Spanish club Atlético Madrid in 2013, going on loan to Mallorca and Almería, and returned to Atlético in 2015, with whom he won the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Super Cup in 2018.

In 2020, he joined Arsenal in a transfer worth £45 million (€50 million), becoming the most expensive Ghanaian player of all time.

Partey’s deal with Arsenal immediately placed him among the highest-paid players at the club as the Ghanaian midfielder soon established himself as integral member of the Gunners’ midfield.

Considered one of the best forwards in the Premier League, he is known for his trickery, technical skills, versatility, and link-up play.

Jesus began his senior club career at Palmeiras, where he was voted Best Newcomer at the 2015 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A and won the Copa do Brasil.

In 2016, he won the Bola de Ouro helping Palmeiras win their first national league title in 22 years.

Jesus signed with Premier League club Manchester City in January 2017 in a transfer worth £27 million, and won four Premier League titles, three EFL Cups, and the FA Cup.

In July 2022, he joined Arsenal in a deal worth £45 million.

The deal saw him become the highest-paid player at Arsenal, having signed a 5-year contract with the North London giants.
