Do you think God is in support of either Russia or Ukraine in this ongoing war in Ukraine, and do you think the dead soldiers from either side of the country will be going to heaven or hell, according to how they lived their lives here on earth?

God can never support war considering the effects and devastation it brings,the only war he supports is when enemy intends to conquer your dormitory, like in the bible we read,he will guide you through such to ensure you are not defeated by your enemy

Of course your God supported war, and as a matter of fact he is a violent psychopath.

The Bible is filled with examples of God supporting war. One of the more notable examples is when God ordered the Israelites to go to war against the Amorites.
"When the Lord your God brings you into the land you are entering to possess and drives out before you many nations—the Hittites, Girgashites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites, seven nations larger and stronger than you—
2) And when the Lord your God delivers them over to you and you defeat them, then you must destroy them totally. Make no treaty with them, and show them no mercy." (Deuteronomy 7:1-2)
Here, God is commanding the Israelites to go to war and destroy the nations that are living in the land that God is giving to them. This show the sort of God you folks serve.

Doesn't matter whose side. He supported war, yes!
Well, he doesn't exist, so it's only a story. 😉

Christianity always assumed the position of God's words or thoughts over things....



If you do anything, they will tell you that God doesn't like it... How do they really know what God likes and dislike when the Bible was merely written by a man who claims was directed by God to write it.


Till date, I'm still wondering how Noah controlled all animals in the world into a ship and the lions didn't kill everything and eat them.

Coz the same Bible made us to understand that after Adam ate the apple, every animals became wild from the garden of Eden and the peacefulness of the garden where man and animals lived peacefully was destroyed.

These cooked up stories aren't connecting in anyway!

The first commenter is wrong. God loves war. According to the Bible, he commanded Saul to completely rout all Amalekites, not minding the children, women, the innocent animals or the disabled. Saul was even punished for sparing the king and the sheep.

There were many other needless wars God ordered the Israelites to fight. Sometimes I wonder who created those victims the Israelites were always fighting? Was it not the same God? So if Ukraine and Russia are fighting today, it's no biggie and not a sin. Let them fight abeg.

Did you not read or hear that God punished His chosen people with war when they annoyed Him?

War is a punishment from God as Peace is His Blessing.

As humans created in God's image we are supposed to live peacefully with our neighbours {Mark 12:31} but something went wrong and politics set in making humans to set standards among themselves.
That's what gave birth to WARS.
According to Jesus worshipers of God should love their enemies {Matthew 5:43-48} love their neighbours as themselves {Matthew 22:39} and love fellow believers just as Jesus loves them! John 13:34-35
So there shouldn't be WARS at all if this rules are obeyed! John 15:14
