Clashes have always gone on routinely for ages

The reason why it seems to be on a frightening dimension is due to the coming of the internet and social media bringing it to the fore.

Clashes, contests, competition for so so and so...

These clashes are no different from cult clashes, even clashes here on nairaland, the election contest, contest for the best graduating student in the class and the entire school... The difference is in what was lost or gained.

Some resulted in loss of life, properties, others in loss of prestige, position, bragging rights.

What caused the clash?

The type of human carnage going on in the north has now exceeded the death rates of countries that are in full fledged war like Ukraine and Russia. Is it that another war is going on in the country and no om is talking about it. The DSS, Nigeria police and military, the human right bodies ,NGO are all quiet as if this is the new norm . I sincerely hope the Muslim Muslim ticket can at least be touched if the churches in Nigeria decide to continue in their self imposed docility
