Change the mindset, and do good because it is good to be merciful.
And God who sees all will reward you.

And also, be careful of who you are good to.
Some are parasites.
They are there to use you and squeeze you.

Do not do good out of fear of men.
Do good out of compassion.
And put a boundary, when you smell something fishy.
