The mainstream banks in Nigeria are completely useless. I still don't understand what their functions are. To get a loan from them is impossible. They still money from the accounts at will. Simple ussd and online transaction will take you forever to make. They're a piece of excrement.

Most of them are owned by churches and schools. CBN doesn't want money to be stored in those banks because it want to monitor their finances
And none is owned by a mosque.?

Fairmoney is the best among them all. Their advert shows a lot of maturity. I will advise anyone to open fairmoney and enjoy the benefit of a real bank just like european countries

Micro finance have failed in their duties and responsibilities.

Deposit Money Banks are not left out.

Na naija u go see micro finance banks not granting 50k loan but wud grant 3milli loan coz one baba drop 5milli collateral.


Meeting foolish targets dat wud kill business in 5 years. Short term motherfuckers

What will happen to people which are already having savings with them and also people that also collected loan from them. Cause as it stand people on hearing the news will storm there branches for there money, which will make them crash the more because others too collected loan.

Those micro finance banks were created around 1990'S. Especially those ones in Anambra State like Awgbu microfinance bank, Nanka Microfinance, Ụli Microfinance Bank even Awka Microfinance. Those banks wer formed and owned by communities where banks are not situated and they are far from where conventional banks were located. Why Revoking their licenses?.
