Dear HODs, Managers, Employees,

If you have a bad attitude work on yourself, HR is not a babysitter neither is any employee in the Organisation.

Grow up and do it all quickly.

It is essential for us to maintain a positive restful work environment. I believe there is a need in fostering a culture of professionalism and maturity within our organization. There we should reflect on our attitudes and behaviours to ensure a harmonious workplace.

When you have a misunderstanding with any colleague deal with it maturely.

When someone in the office tells you what you don't like, don't come to the office raising your voice to anyone because you are addressing the issue, you did not pay anyone's school fees.

Don't come using vulgar language on any employee and expect everyone to accept it because it is who you are.

No matter how angry you are, abusive words don't justify your feelings. Nobody is born to condone your rudeness and unethical bad behaviour. Ethics don't bend to your feelings!

If you are struggling with a bad attitude there are resources available to help you. The HR can provide you with guidance and support and also talk to a therapist or a counsellor.

It is important to remember that you are not alone. Many people struggle with a bad attitude. By working on yourself u can make a positive difference in your workplace.

Here are some tips for dealing with a bad attitude in the workplace:

Talk to the person directly: if the person hurts you, it is important to talk to them directly. Be honest and respectful, and try to understand why they are behaving the way they are

Report the behavior to HR: If someone is creating a hostile work environment, you should report the behavior to HR. Hr will investigate and take appropriate action.

Take care of yourself: A bad attitude can be stressful. Make sure to take care f yourself by getting enough sleep, eating healthy foods, and exercising regularly.

Let's all take responsibility for our own attitudes and actions, as professionals we cannot act as babysitters. Each of us plays a role in creating a positive and exclusive environment. Nigeria is already "triple" stressful don't make the workplace more.

But if you decide not to change we will take to you back to kindergarten.
