As the Head of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in driving our financial strategy, ensuring compliance, and contributing to our mission of empowering communities through inclusive financial services.

Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee the financial operations of the microfinance bank, including budgeting, financial reporting, risk management, and compliance.
Develop and implement effective financial strategies aligned with the bank's overall goals and objectives.
Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making processes.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, legal requirements, and industry best practices.
Manage and mentor a talented finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external auditors, and regulatory authorities to ensure transparency and regulatory compliance.
Monitor and analyze financial performance indicators, identify potential risks, and proactively implement appropriate measures.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (ACCA, ACA, FCA) is required.

Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or a similar role within the microfinance industry.
Strong knowledge of microfinance operations, financial management principles, and regulatory requirements.
Proven leadership skills with experience in managing a finance team and driving financial strategy.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex financial information to diverse audiences.
Proficiency in financial analysis techniques, financial modeling, and reporting.
Demonstrated integrity, ethics, and a commitment to upholding high professional standards.
