Please Nairalanders, Advice us on what we should do.

The Policemen are making life difficult for us who are from the Border Towns of IPOKIA LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF OGUN STATE due to the numerous checkpoints on the International road from SANGO - OTA to IDIROKO.

This road is not more than 66 kilometers, yet there are over twenty (20) Police Check points on the road.

It is an eyesore when you get to a checkpoint and you are delayed because the driver of the commercial vehicle you are in refused to part with #100. 00. That is the amount they collect on each over 20 check points and they will give the driver a fake number ranging from 0 - 100.

A commercial driver have to booked everyday in each of the Check points with #100. 00. And any driver that refuses to pay up will have to be delayed and sometimes arrested and his vehicle impounded.

Sometimes, you have to spend over three to four hours traveling from Idiroko to Sango - Ota, a journey that suppose to be forty -five minutes or at most one hour.

Please House, what should we do? We are fed up.
