The Chairman National Youth Council of Nigeria, Ikwuano chapter Amb. Chinweuba Anyaragbu celebrates with Children on their special day mapped out by the United Nations.

We are thankful to God for another opportunity to celebrate our children’s Day on May 27th, 2023.

Today reminds us of the right of Every Child as enshrined in the United Nations Charter.

It speaks about the right to good quality education, good parenting, and protection from harm.

Major future, and the necessary sacrifices, and building blocks by parents, guardians, teachers, leaders, and Government to secure our greatest assets on earth, the Younger Ones.*

We share the great joy that children bring into the family and the fulfillment of seeing them become responsible in society.

NYCN Ikwuano Chapter appreciates all the support we have received from the government in realizing some of the targets, like the school feeding program, and resuscitation of the primary health care system, through agencies in charge.

Major values of integrity, honesty, hard work, and love for learning should not be negotiated. Our children should know, and stay with the ancient landmarks of what is true, and right at home, and abroad.

We still believe our children hold the keys to a brighter future for this Nation.

We are hearty say Happy Children’s Day, and God bless our children.
