I am not against fuel subsidy removal, President Bola Tinubu should have consulted with the stakeholders first and then put palliative measures in place before the removal.
However, let accept it and move on

Most of the importation happens in the South West. South South people have used violence, violent crimes and senseless demands to wreck their religion. The level of sea privacy around Niger Delta waters is high; that's partly why cargo vessels avoid their ports. I am glad Akwa Ibom is quite different.

Lagos port has been functioning before oil was discovered. It's beyond them. Moreover, the Dangote refinery in Lagos is privately owned which is beyond the sout south.

It's going to be a win win situation because when the subsidy is removed, other sectors of the economy will develop.
Approval was granted to other companies to site their refineries in the south-south too.

What do you suggest they do? Prevent Dangote from siting his refinery where ever he deems fit? Where were you when he wanted to situate it in Okirika, and the community and the youth frustrated him abd he then relocated to Lagos where he was welcomed?

Even if he doesn't get the crude from SS, he can import from elsewhere to refine.

We dey enjoy for Lagos o! I feel that this price is too cheap to cover landing cost. It should be costlier than this.

I love Bola Ahmed Tinubu
