Once subsidy is no longer paid for a commodity, the price will definitely increase.
Petrol is very critical to the economy of Nigeria. Everyone will fill the negative impact directly or indirectly.

1. Increase in transportation: If you spend 500 naira daily for your transport, be prepared to spend times three of that.

2_ Increase in food prices: Food traders will increase their prices because they will be spending more on transportation.

3. Increase in cost of services: A country of 180 million is generating 5,000 megawatts of electricity. This is very poor. Small businesses are known as the livewire of a country. Most smes rely on generators powered by petrol for their production. They will definitely increase their prices to stay in business.

4. Some businesses may shutdown: Survival of the fittest. Some businesses may not cope and will have to shutdown.

5. No Discretionary income for low income earners.

6. Increase in house rent

You are neglecting the Banking Industry Impact on interest loans for those smes. Subsidy is a pure crime on our economy it should go so the funds can be redirected into more productive channels. Maybe hard to adjust to at first but in the long run it’s extremely beneficial

Majority of smes are not financed by banks.

Let subsidy go! At least, we will have something to use as a case study.

Any landlord that increases his rent, I will park out immediately. Am I using fuel to live inside the house or what ?

Except it's a newly built house constructed from this month of subsidy removal.

The good thing is that any càndidàte u sûppórted would have removed the subsidy.
At this stage if only Obi and his followers can dèñy he said such, they would have happily denied it.
