Even the idea of repercussion, retribution, and/or Karma is not universal; and can not be said to be sacrosanct.

The Universe can decide to favor a sinful soul and bless him with sufficient grace, while a saintly or righteous soul can be visited with misfortunes and a tragic end.

We should always seek for Grace and divine favor in all of our undertaking.

At least Bobby Love was uncovered & disgraced by police while still alive and very old. Not like he murdered anyone. armed robber things.Escaped prison 1977 Walter Miller. Caught 2015 now Mr Bobby. Bobby's love wife could not believe her loving husband was runaway criminal. Oh The embarrasment!

Omo this guy who was 16 in 1950; died 2010( 76 yo almost 80) smoothly got away in his entire lifetime. What a lucky chap escaped karma & had a normal full life . Not many people these days even live up to 76.lf anyone deserved to be caught or die miserable death its this idiot who murdered his parents.
Honour ya parents that days long. He fvcking murdered his parents. Fvking lived long & happily to ripe old age. Karma in the mud.

A similar case, murder not involved though, was unearthed sometime ago. The escapee completely turned a new leaf after he had changed his identity. He was a nice father loved by wife and kids. Later the police arrested and took him back to prison. He got pardoned later by a former US president after much pressure by friends and family.

16 in 1958, died aged 68 in 2010.

What's amazing about this story is that despite the amount of years it took, the US Marshalls never closed the case but pursued it to a foreseeable conclusion. This is very unlike here in Nigeria where the trials from a murder case grow cold in just a few weeks. I wish we had it better.

Oh just rechecked. Murdered his parents in 1958 at 16. Yeah that is 68 in 2010 when he died. Him still try. karma in the mud. Even my papa when nor murder his parents and lived good honest life, did not celebrate his 67th birthday on planet earth.

What a lucky chap. He even lived longer than president Yaradua (1951-2010) 58yo. How long are people living these days? To meet average life expectancy all devoid of karma of murdering parents . Flex

And you think he escaped justice? He spent about 8yrs in prison before escaping. After his escape, he lived a remorseful life always regretting and ever looking over his shoulder. He lived ever in fear that he will get caught. How then can he be free? He lived and died as a prisoner of conscience.

A very educative piece, will make sense as a documentary movie.

This story reminds me of "The Guardian" by John Grisham. Indeed there are Marshalls and Lawyers who can dig through very cold cases which could drag for decades until a conclusive end is achieved. This is only possible in the western world.... Sadly not possible in my dear country Nigeria.
