10 Ways To Succeed In Nigerian Politics: My Advice To The President

1. Be genuinely passionate about lifting people out of poverty.

2. Listen to the people and different shades of opinions when you get to office.

3. Don't ever be tribalistic, or else people will hate you, because Nigeria is a country with hundreds of tribes.

4. Make sure you perform when you get to office as a leader.

5. Don't go to office with the aim of enriching yourself and your family. Don't corruptly enrich your pocket at the expense of the masses.

6. During your political campaign, don't promise what you know is not achievable or else when you get to office and can't achieve it, the masses will hate you. Be sincere with the people during campaign.

7. Don't be a dictator. Don't suppress the will of the people to ventilate their views and do peaceful protests on issues bothering them. Rather, address those issues quickly before they get out of hand.

8. Communicate with the people regularly and personally, through regular broadcasts and granting of media interviews to address relevant issues. Don't ignore the people when you get to office.

9. Tackle electricity and as soon as there is 24 hours electricity in Nigeria, the unemployment problem will automatically be solved by more than 60%. Many Nigerians are highly talented and can work on their own and produce many great things singlehandedly if they have 24 hours electricity.

10. Take very good care of the security agencies by raising their salaries and never owe them salaries. Such as the police, army, navy, airforce, civil defense and all other security agencies. They are very important to the success of any government or nation.

This is my advice to the president.

Nigeria will succeed.

Tell David Samuel to contest for presidency, we need practical and not theory. Enough of theoretical talks without actions, he can contest for his state governorship first and apply all these, once they work out; people will rally round him to become president where he can applied them. It was because Tinubu governance was more practical oriented like than that of obi that made majority voted for Tinubu.

All Tinubu did as governor can be seen around and its testimonies abound everywhere while that of obi has vanished since following year he left governance. Talking is always cheap, but action is always difficult. No matter how you tried to please some people, it won't just work out because they are nurtured as troublesome individuals.

Soludo wanted to make peace with Ipob/esn when he resumed, did his theoretical view worked, no; it was frustrated, so he had to use iron hands on Ipob/esn when he discovered they are species of wild animals living inside bushes

Hmmm... Really??

But in reality, no practical without theory first....!

It's true you can't please everybody, but a good leader will definitely perform well no matter how difficult it is to please everyone.

Yes, a good leader will perform no matter where you put him.

As long as you can perform in office, you will be long remembered by posterity and adored by people even long after you've left office. That's the truth. So performance is the key.

The game of politics.

Now the problem I see in Nigerian Politics is that many politicians are not adequately prepared for public office and they have no genuine programs or anything tangible to offer the people.

So that is why we see many politicians go into public office and fail to perform. They perform woefully and disappoint the people.

This problem can be avoided by screening candidates thoroughly to weed out the unprepared ones before they go into office to disappoint Nigerians and cause more hardship for the people.

We need active leaders, proactive leaders and a leader with action who can solve Nigeria's problems within a reasonable period of time without having to spend eight years doing virtually nothing for the people.
