People of Nnwei would not allow it most especially the Billionaires there
EmekaA125:
Soludo should please extend the hand of massive development to Nnewi. The town is seriously lagging behind in Anambra. A flyover should be approved in Nnewi to ease movement and improve economic activities in the city.

Nice project. I hope he is ready to kickstart the project immediately after demolition? If not, he should calm downooo! Some of my Nanka peeps that have shops along that road will be affected. I feel for them but it's for the common good anyways.

Not just Nanka. Look at the entire stretch of roads leading to Ekwulobia. A lot of the communities have citizens with stores in Ekwulobia. Even the people of Ekwulobia have been resisting it. They have claimed that Soludo wants to take away the parks there.

Thankfully communities like Aguluezechukwu, up to Uga and effectively Orlu and Imo state will enjoy the bridge. It will open up Ekwulobia and provide unimaginable opportunities to all. Life also will be better.

Soludo himself will benefit because Isuofia, his hometown is nearby and the bridge is located in his local government area.

If this was done in Lagos, they would have called it intimidation against Igbos even if no Igbo man house was demolished.

But Ekwulobia is not state capital. This is the way Imo people will be wondering over this news. In Imo state nothing can be built outside Owerri state capital. Imo population is bursting in Owerri. Rest of the state is emptying into Owerri.

Same thing is happening in Awka and Onitsha, many buildings were demolished at Unizik Junction down to Esther Okoli avenue to give way to dualization of the road, and so many areas in Awka are witnessing same

No building was demolished at UNIZIK Junction or Obi Okoli. I repeat no building was demolished.

Rather extension of building were demolished.
People form the habit of adding extension to buildings along major road for selfish interest. You can see from Y junction that many of the extension were even longer than the Main building

There's only one Hard and Fake drug market in Africa and it is in Anambra. .
Continue opening different accounts and quoting yourself. Is agreement the same thing with compensation? A government taxing people heavily that they are generating revenue cannot compensate all these people, take that to the bank.
If na SW states now, they should have opened accounts to say it is witch hunting cos they didn't vote for Tinubu.
You are boasting of destroying Nnewi while the indigenes have opened a thread here that Soludo is marginalizing them because they voted massively for their son instead of Soludo.
Continue to open more accounts and quoting yourself to hide yourself.

If it is Lagos that does this. You will start hearing they hate Igbos, they are destroying Igbo properties. But with Soludo it shows he is a visionary leader. I am not drawn into the tribal shit on nairaland. I just want us to be objective and constructively critical.
