A few hours ago, Labour Party presidential flag bearer, Peter Gregory Obi took to social media to eulogize renowned legal luminary and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Professor Awa Kalu (SAN) as the latter celebrated his 70th birthday.

In a series of tweets posted on his verified Twitter handle on Sunday morning, Obi described Kalu, who is among the team of 12 Senior Advocates representing him at the Election Petitions Tribunal, as a man who has earned many accolades and qualifications, while contributing to nation-building and the rule of law.

Going further, the former Anambra governor wished the legal luminary many more years of health and happiness.

He wrote; "On behalf of my family, I join other peers, and admirers in congratulating my dear elder brother, and quintessential gentleman, Prof Awa U. Kalu (SAN) on your 70th birthday. Your renowned accomplishments as a scholar and legal luminary are well-documented; we celebrated those too, and the greater value added to qualitative law practice through those you taught, and continue to teach and mentor."
