Femi Gbajabiamila was in the Parliament just like Enyinnaya Abaribe who's still a serving Senator. Go to Surulere and see projects he executed. If you count all of his legacy projects across his entire Constituency, you'd find out that he completed more projects without an Executive power more than Enyinnaya Abaribe, Okezie Ikpeazu and T.A Orji. Projects are not the primary functions of the Legislators. This mindset is why the NASS is the grandmaster of looting in Nigeria where dollars are required to pass laws. MadamExcellency:You're already coming up with excuses for a failed public officer, what's the purpose of the funds for constituency projects since projects are not their primary functions. Are you insinuating that Abaribe never collected funds for constituency projects throughout his 17 years stay in the Senate? Abaribe is just a con man like the typical Nigerian politician, as far as the Easterners are concerned, you don't have to embark on any project or provide dividend of democracy, once you align with their yearnings for a phantom Biafra, you'll keep winning elections, Abaribe understands and he rides on the gullibility of his people during electioneering periods to return to the Senate 15 Likes 2 Shares |

With the terrible state of infrastructures in this country, how are you able to sing the praise of any of the politicians? Can you confidently say that one state is better than others, looking at how the states are all systematically underdeveloped by thieving politicians? If the politicians put in half of what they loot in the funds for constituency projects nationwide, our country should be rated among the best developed nations by now. Funds for constituency projects are released to politicians and such funds are used as private funds to make them live better lives. When they release pittances under funny names, you praise them. Venture out to better countries and you”ll spit on the faces of all our politicians. You all sang the praises of Buhari and his government was expected to be upright. Corruption in his government was worse than even the much villified GEJ’s government. Until the citizens vote for accountable leaders, gullible ones will continue to wallow in hardship, bewitchment and poverty. |
