It is a constant truth that military officers are involved in oil theft in Niger Delta. Asari Dokubo didn't say anything new. As the Commander-in-Chief President Tinubu should have set DSS on some massive undercover operations to unveil the culprits.

Allowing Asari Dokubo a head of an illegal armed group that military had decimated years ago to blackmail the same military in order to stage a comeback with 'his boys' is a dangerous game to play.
Tinubu should take this advice.

The oil theft is a combination of the so-called amnestied militants and security forces and so he cannot name names. We know he's playing to the gallery in order to get APC acceptance and ultimately a choice appointment or contract, watch out for his recant of the allegations in the coming days undecided undecided undecided undecided undecided

Oil theft started in the 1980s.
Several of the military officers involved have retired and their successors continued
Asari cannot lie, because oil theft cannot be done without the knowledge of the Nigerian Navy.
It is takes days and goes on during the surveillance of the Naval patrol in the Niger Delta.
If you want to know the details, read "Ghosts of the Niger Delta" by Bisi Daniels, a retired senior executive of Shell in Nigeria. The multinational oil companies know that Alhaji Asari Dokubo has only said what we all know.
I was on Bonny Island in Rivers State for four years. The Nigerian Navy should stop telling lies.

No smoke without fire
I remember during Yaradua time when they announced that kerosene should be sold for N50, I went to a filling station to buy kerosene and there were many people struggling for the kerosene, the manager had to call the nearest police station to come and stop misbehavior of some people.
The police came and they went back and brought plenty of 50litres kegs to buy kerosene and they took over from the filling station and nobody could near them.
I suffered that day and I did not go home with one drop of kerosene.

Nigeria is a nation besieged with woes and it seems it's impossible to right the wrong !

How many times has Gov Wike accused the Military of oil bunkering

What has Buhari government done about it ?

It's no longer strange that some powerful cabals feared by the government and compromised by the inner circle of people in power are the culprits !

Nigeria Navy playing to the gallery.
A theif runs when no man pursues him .
The clean conscience fears no accusation.
I have been expecting their weak damage control since yesterday, and lo and behold it finally came.
Shame on the Navy. We in the Niger Delta knows the original oil theft.

No need mention names. Check your ranks at jetty For further investigation.

The attitude of public officers in Nigeria should change for better. Be patriotic. If you aid and abet crime you're not better than an arm robber. The difference is the uniform.

In 2011,I heard from a naval officer that if he's posted to the oil area.... Under six month he's a millionaire because of helping criminals to shortchange Nigerian government.

They will offload half vessels of pms and return the vessel to the middle of the... Then come back to offload the remainder as another vessel.

They also have a way of making Nigerian government pay for demorage of vessels berth for weeks.

This was after my interaction with a lieutenant in Nigeria navy. So nobody in uniform should dare us mention names.

Why should any sane organization ask for people to mention names 'when they already know the truth'

The masses are not Happy because they're paying for the excesses in subsidy corruption due to the lackadaisical attitude of some clowns in uniform

Only if our Heads of MDAs can act like that of NDIC Board Chairman most MDAs cover up their staff visit Customs.

Poverty every MDA.

Tinubu should as a matter of urgency stop allowing everyone to be visiting him anyhow.

Not as if he is incorrect, but being close Tinubu has now given him guts to embarrass the entire armed forces on television. Not good at all.
Shut up if you have nothing meaningful to say. How many persons can speak truth to power and army and walk free? We are talking about finding solutions. Army that we all respect should not be engaging in illegal activities like these and blame the struggling youths. It's a challenge of truth or lie against the military.
