I just love the military for their discipline. Too bad nepotism, favoritism, politics has killed the country that a common man who has passion for the service can't even get past the exam venue if he doesn't have someone up there in the upper echelon.

That portfolio should not exceed Luetenant or at most Captain.

Isn't AVM too high a rank for that position. Wish him well. He looks like he was a career officer.

Why? Do you know how much it cost to train an officer to the rank of an AVM? So because of political expediency, you'll do away with the all the collective experience, skill and expertise at the snap of a finger?

Most Defence Attaches are Col or Brig Gen equivalent, it's most likely he got promoted to AVM while he was still a defence attaché.
