where is the local production? The same rice farmers imported and re-bag?
Agriculture revolution in Nigeria is a dream.
We need importation, we can't produce everything.

If agriculture revolution in Nigeria is a dream, Then Nigeria deserves to starve.

Any country that doesn't have food and energy will end up being enslaved.

Nigeria need production; the country has arable land and a young population of cheap labour. They should be put to work and introduced force labour if they don't want to work.

To President Tinubu:
What Nigerians want you to do for the next one year,is to allow Full Importations of Food Items - such as Rice,,oil , Turkey 🦃,etc.
- For this is the first principles to win the Masses to your side- People wants Food and not excuses!
Then set up a small Committee on Agriculture that would know the hindrances, since the former Minister- Adesina left, that Agric Sector is stinking of Corruption!
• Is Seme Borders Open or Not, give directives, please!

This is complete madness; what kind of country imports Rice, cooking oil and Turkey.

If agriculture revolution in Nigeria is a dream, Then Nigeria deserves to starve.

Any country that doesn't have food and energy will end up being enslaved. So, Benin and Niger produce rice, turkey, vegetable oil?

Nigeria need production; the country has arable land and a young population of cheap labour. They should be put to work and introduced force labour if they don't want to work.

we have arable land no doubt but do government engage in the so called agriculture revolution? CBN gave many states and individual loans for farming but the money was embezzled without any food production.

People should not be starve to death before local production.
You can't tell me USA and other developed countries solely provide their food consumption without importation.

If the people don't want to starve, they must grow their food.

Where would Nigeria import food from if there is war in Europe, S America, and Asia? The situation in the Ukraine-Russia conflict should be a lesson that food security is paramount. African countries begging war-torn Russia and Ukraine for food and fertiliser export is a disgrace. Brazil developed simple crop science that enabled Wheat to grow in the tropics.

The people are the government; insecurity and poor infrastructure are significant problems, but the local communities should collaborate to develop local agriculture development from the grassroots level.

stop blaming the people, the government should lead by example. They banned border but imported food floods our market.
Who should show good examples,
Who should create enabling environment if not the government.
Farmers are been kill in their farms on daily basis.
The facts still remains the food we produce is not enough and people are starving. We should not die before have daily bread.
It is senseless, foolishness and wickedness to shut down the border while the political class have their ways to free food and commodities.
Don't kill the people!

Sha open border for importation of food items rice, turkey, oil etc. Local production is a fallacy.
Imagine Lagos rice at 33k while government pay 30k as minimum wage.
